caramel custard

Nonton acara kuliner di chanel kuliner, nama acaranya aku lupa dah lama banget nama chefnya juga lupa :-(.
Menunya uenak-uenak. nah suatu kali chef yang orang inggris (dari logatnya yang british) bikin kue ini. pas udah jadi bentuknya menariiiik banget, waktu di makan kliatannya enaaak banget hehehe.. terprovokasi untuk bikin deh. tapi dapet resepnya di mbah google, karena chefnya british banget ga jelas ngomongnya (alias hehhee ga ngerti). Nih dia resep aslinya


Ingredients:
1/2    cup plus 1/3 cup white sugar
3       eggs
1       tea spoon vanilla
1/8    tea spoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk

How to:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. On low heat, warm the 1/2 cup sugar until melted and light brown
  3. Spoon sugar into custard or short coffee cups allowing it to cover the bottom
  4. Meanwhile,beat the eggs and blend with the remaining sugar, vanilla, and salt
  5. Warm the milk and slowly stir it into the egg mixture
  6. After the sugar has hardened, pour the mixture into cups and put cups on a baking pan
  7. fill the pan with warm water and place in the oven, baking for about 45 minutes
  8. Let rest in refrigerator for several hours before serving
  9. Once set, turn custard cups upside and pop out to serve.
